A huge weekend of Moblife action kicked off on Saturday, with the last of the Moblife Weekly Qualifiers attracting a massive 172 runners, all fighting it out for the last three tickets to the Moblife Final.

The huge field was whittled down to the final table on the 2 hour mark with BarossaSlick leading the way with 34,123 in chips from laulau578 on 20,312 and PRStevie on 19,673. Here is how the final table shaped up;

Seat 1: FlyingBlue - 1,780 in chips
Seat 2: laulau578 - 20,312 in chips
Seat 3: therotweiler - 14,818 in chips
Seat 4: Asparagoose - 14,829 in chips
Seat 4: demon6868 - 7,865 in chips
Seat 5: Noah Sinking - 41,240 in chips
Seat 6: PRStevie - 19,673 in chips
Seat 7: BarossaSlick - 34,123 in chips
Seat 8: AlexeyVrn - 17,360 in chips

The action then came thick and fast with Asparagoose making a big run to be chip leader with 62,596 in chips when it got down to four handed play.

Seat 7: BarossaSlick - 43,625 in chips

PRStevie was easily the shortest stack at the table, and despite doubling up once with pocket 9's through BarossaSlick, his run would end some 20 minutes into 4-handed play when his A9o ran into laulau578's QQ. PRStevie's exit handed laulau578, Asparagoose and BarossaSlick the last three tickets to Sunday's Moblife Final.

The Moblife action just kept on rolling on Sunday, with the tournament we had all been waiting for, The Moblife Final. After 5 hard fought qualifiers, someone was finally going to take home the awesome Nokia N82, and with only 15 players having tickets for the Final, the competition was sure to be fierce.

Play got under way just after 20:00 CET on Sunday evening, and it was stephengnr leading the when the 15 starters were narrowed down to one table. When it got down to 5-handed stephengnr still held the chip lead with 12,270, but laulau578 had moevf tp 10,355 and was gaining momentum fast.

Seat 2: Marco_J.S. - 1,831 in chips
Seat 3: Luckymuckie - 1,172 in chips
Seat 6: laulau578 - 10,355 in chips
Seat 7: parmstrp x - 4,372 in chips
Seat 9: stephengnr - 12,270 in chips

Luckymuckie was getting dangerously short with blinds up to 150/300 and after limping from the cut off, she faced parmstrp x all-in push from BB. Luckymuckie called with her remaining 800 in chips and turned over As5s against parmstrp x's AdKd. Luckymuckie was going to need some help to stay alive in the tournament and she got some serious outs on the flop of 3S 6S 2H. However, no spade, 5, or 4 fell on the turn or river and Luckymuckie was out in 5th.

parmstrp x was straight back into the action after busting Luckymuckie, and got all her chips in the middle with AsKs agaisnt Marco_J.S.'s pocket 3's. The board ran out with no improvement for either player and Marco_J.S.'s 3's were enough to send parmstrp x to the rail in an unlucky 4th. With only three players remaining the chip stacks were incredible even, but stephengnr still held a slight chip lead:

However, three handed play wasn't kind to stephengnr and 20 hands in he found himself on SB with only 3,339 in chip and facing an all-in raise from laulau578 on the cut off. stephengnr looked down on Ad8d and made the call, with laulau578 flipping over pocket 5's. laulau578 made a set on the flop and it was enough to end stephengnr's tournament in 3rd with a $50+$4 tournament ticket.

laulau578 took a 2-1 chip advantage into head's up play against Marco_J.S., and despite chipping away for 25 hands, Marco_J.S. was still the short stack when he pushed all-in from BB over the top of laulau578 2k raise. laulau578 made the call and flipped over ThJc in an interesting race against Marco_J.S.'s Kh6h. A T on the flop meant laulau578 would only have to dodge a K or running 6's to take down the Nokia N82, and although one 6 fell on the turn, a J on the river sealed the deal and made laulau578 the Moblife Champion!

Congratulations to laulau578, after only signing up on PokerRoom.com late in November, the Frenchman managed to win a Moblife Final ticket in the final Weekly Qualifier, before beating out his 14 opponents to take down the brilliant Nokia N82! Congratulations must also go to Marco_J.S. who fought so hard for 2nd place and took down a $69+$6 Tournament ticket!
