As the smoke cleared from this weekend’s WSOP Europe Online Final, nammer4life was left holding the $28,000 prize! But before we check out that final hand lets look at some other big moments.

One of the meanest beats in tourney came on DirtyDingo’s all in with 6 players left. The call came from Mr.PATAJS who was holding A6 to DirtyDingo’s AT. Everything was blank and Dirty was getting comfortable when, BANG, the 6. That’s it for you Dirty! One of our WSOP players, Maximaxcold, got knocked out with the same card, different suit. His was the 6 of Spades!

uralbomber has been in the hunt a few times and we know he’ll get there soon. For now he will have to enjoy his $2887 and his ticket to the next Online Final Qualifier. His 3s got busted by TheBrain001’s AJ. This hand would come back to haunt TheBrain001 though!

Next was Mr.PATAJS’ turn. He called when nammer4life’s all in smelled funny. He was pretty close to right. nammer had 3s and Mr.PATAJS had himself two over cards, an A and a 6. But no help, even with twelve outs on the river, meant that he was out and $4331 richer with a ticket to ride the next Big Event train.

CasinoShark dug in, he really waited, for three minutes. Even after all that patience he still got knocked out! He got caught when he pushed all in with his A8 looking to grab the blinds or get called by a lower Ace. TheBrain001 had a bigger one, and with his AT he sent CasinoShark home with $5775 in his pocket and a ticket to another Online Final Qualifier. Good luck on the next one!

Then there were two. In a devastating hand, nammer4life made the call on TheBrain001’s all in push. nammer4life had AJ and TheBrain001 had A7 so when the Ace flopped and the river turned over a Jack TheBrain001 was left crippled! The final hand was just a formality and nammer4life pulled the pot with a Jack high hand. Congratulations Sir! We’ll see you on the other side of the pond!

We had a whole bunch of WSOP veterans playing too! Here’s a little recap of their play:

Firework bounced on the bubble bubble. One hand before elimination he went after Mr.PATAJS with a pair of aces on a scary board that included two clubs! Mr.PATAJS called off the rest of his chips on the flush draw and hit! Sorry Firework! Solid play, hope to see you at the next one.

sak31 got knocked out by a draw on his final hand as well! He called a pre-flop raise with AJ and got himself top pair, but with the Ten in there as well it looked bad. He reraised with the rest of his chips but Taxi6767 wasn’t scared. He called him and hit his King on the river to give him top pair! I hope Charan wasn’t watching that hand! For all you Team PokerRoomies out there, he was the loudest guy in Caesar’s Cardroom, and probably the loudest guy online after that beat!

AKplus was a cool character at the tables in Vegas, and I am sure he took this hand with style. His 99 got put up against KK and he had all his chips on the felt before the flop hit. With no help he was out. I am sure that’s not the last we’ll see of him!

There was even a crazy Welshman in the crowd on Saturday! Funeyo got low and his KT got beat by a tricky Q5, DirtyDingo didn’t know who he was facing! This guy can really drink you under the table! Wait, this is poker...

Now whassup x knows better. I know he does. I saw him cripple some people with some great raising and reraising while relaxing in the Vegas cardrooms. So why get stuck in a hand with AQ and a King on the board? You’ll have to ask him!

And finally, the first WSOP 2007 player to go out was Ovoman. His QQ got bumped by KK and that was that. Back to the drawing board sir!
