Here's another for your consideration

The Dutchman is at seat 0 with $27.25.
Hu Flung Poo is at seat 1 with $119.30.
IPAH7 is at seat 2 with $48.90.
geiststaat is at seat 3 with $61.40.
Dangeresque is at seat 4 with $33.20.
xCCx is at seat 5 with $77.90.
SavageS is at seat 6 with $30.75.
DaCrusha is at seat 7 with $23.75.
Wilder Willy is at seat 8 with $37.50.
Unananimity is at seat 9 with $49.50.
The button is at seat 5.

SavageS posts the small blind of $.25.
DaCrusha posts the big blind of $.50.
Wilder Willy posts out of turn for $.50.

The Dutchman: -- --
Hu Flung Poo: -- --
IPAH7: -- --
geiststaat: Qh Jh
Dangeresque: -- --
xCCx: -- --
SavageS: -- --
DaCrusha: -- --
Wilder Willy: -- --
Unananimity: -- --

Pre-flop:

Wilder Willy raises to $1. Unananimity folds. The
Dutchman folds. Hu Flung Poo folds. IPAH7 folds.
geiststaat calls. Dangeresque folds. xCCx calls.
SavageS folds. DaCrusha calls.

Flop (board: 9h As Th):

DaCrusha checks. Wilder Willy checks. geiststaat checks.
xCCx bets $4.25. DaCrusha folds. Wilder Willy
folds. geiststaat...

this guy is aggressive postflop, so he may have nothing, but he's not insanely aggressive so he may have a big hand. He's bet the pot, so pot odds are 2 to 1.

you could raise here. It's very likely you are ahead here. You have 15 outs, maybe more if he doesnt have an A

15 outs x 2 streets > 23.5 cards per player

Fire away!

I'm ahead here no matter what he has, so I dropped the hammer and pushed. He folded showing T9, so big laydown on his part.

My thinking: if he has nothing, he's folding to any raise. If he has the kind of hand he's representing, then he may call, and that's fine with me as the favorite. I'm not sure this is the correct play for maximizing EV, however. Although if I raise, I'm guessing he's coming back at me, so in that case, my money is going in the middle. Thoughts?

I like it. Your a favourite, not sure how big of a favourite. SO if u can win without a showdown that must be a good thing. Thats a big laydown

I think it's the only way to ply to hand. You know that you're ahead, so are you supposed to give away some cheap streets to let him catch up?
