playing at full tilt

Oct 19, 2006 12:22 AM. Post 1
Havent tried SNGs or multis yet. Just playing cash games. The difference between PR and FT is amazing.
They players there are so much harder to play. They seem to semi bluff with absolutely anything. From flush draws to gut shots. They are always betting the pot or more, since FT has that button.
Ill give it a couple of days before i leave FT.

Anybody else find it tougher to play here. Or have i always had it so easy playing at PR

heres an example.

I was on tilt at this point in time. Playing a little frustrated. I had JJ and made the same open raise as i had been doing the whole day.

Flop comes A high and my lone opponent bets into me. I calleded every street he bet. I called him the whole way down and showed KQ for K high. I won the pot with JJ.

This is just an example of how i am getting pushed around a lot. This particular hand i won, but ive had to lay down so many.

I've seen some of that there. Comes and goes. I tend toward table with a lot of callers and smaller pots. Seems to help a bit but you never know. Keep notes!

I have been at Full Tilt for almost a year. I play mostly omaha there. I have seen some donks plays, however, not nearly as much as on here.

Half a dozen in one six in the other as the saying goes.

ive had to change the way i play. Do u ever notice that your style changes and you havent even realised?

I dominated here at pokerroom. (most days) I didnt know that it was so easy

I came to Full tilt and got hammered.
Ive tightened up my game a lot, made a few changes here and there. So far things are looking a little better.

I still have to say, opposition is a lot tougher at FT

I think PR's NL games are widely known to be softer than at other sites. I've had a lot of success here, but am only a marginal winner at UB. I'm pretty sure it's the quality of play. Sadly, I won't be able to take advantage of the soft play here any longer.sad

Like Wendy, I play mostly Omaha at Full Tilt and really like it -- both the ring and SnGs.

PLay is a little sharper there but they have added alot of fish lately. I still am positve with SNG's there and ahave won a MTT limit tourn there. I still push when checked to but get reraised more than I did here. There are some really aggressive players there but that makes them easier to trap.

Those who are playing at FTP: how difficult is it to clear the bonus?
