site comparison Tilt vs Stars

Nov 1, 2006 08:24 AM. Post 1
I have played several tourns on Tilt and Poker Stars. I like Stars better because of the longer levels. Even the $1 tourns have 12 minute levels(stars)(10 mins on Tilt). The SNG's and tourns on Tilt are shorter. Turbo's is 3mins and regular is only 6 mins(SNG). i have never been a big turbo fan anyway but 6mins is much too short to counteract the donk fest. Any thoughts?

The longer the levels are, the greater the advanatage for skilled players. I haven't played any SNG's at PS, yet, but the blind levels look nice.

Blind structure at Bodog is also pretty good. Moves up every ten hands, rather than timed. Only 1k in starting chips, but blinds start off at 5/10.

If you decide to sign up at Bodog, I strongly recommend doing so through pokerlistings.com, because they are running a sign-up bonus of 100% up to $100 dollars, whereas everyone else just gets the basic 10% sign-up.
