When i looked and saw KK, i told myself it would be my last hand of the night, i was getting very tired. So when it was reraised to me, i thought "just my luck, he will have AA" But i cant lay it down, so i thought i should maybe raise it to a certain amount where i could maybe get away from it if i was reraised again. But i wasnt really thinking at all and thought **** it. If he has AA, so be it (what a great attitude) Anyway, you know how it all ends.
I suggest that perhaps i should have min raised to see where i was at. Im extremely disappointed as i was having a good session after a string of bad ones. This is beyond tilt. Usually i would get angry, but im so disappointed that all i can do is shake my head and blame conspiracy theories that my KK always runs into AA
I'm playing at Bodog and have no read on either OP. The MP has posted a SB having sat out a hand. I have KK in the BB.
4 limpers I make it $3 (not quite used to Bodog yet, that was supposed to be $3 on top of the blind, but instead it's $3 total), MP who posted a small blind calls ($48.25 stack), button calls, and SB ($66.60) calls, I cover both. Flop: 3h 4s 6d. I bet $8 into $12.50 pot. Against 3 callers I'm not thrilled and don't want to get overinvested. Should I be potting this? MP and SB call. I can't see either of them having me beat right now, as I would expect 2 pair or a set to raise that flop. LIkely hands: 54, 65, 55, 77 (maybe A5, 88 or 99)
Turn: Jd (Pot $36.50) I decide that one of them will bet this turn and I will push over the top. (I'm now thinking I should have just open pushed). I check. MP pushes, SB folds. I call. I put him on a pair and draw. I didn't think JJ was likely since I would have expected a raise on the flop, and I can't see the J making 2 pair.
Well yeah, I'm holding back the river and the showdown. I'm wondering whether you guys think the call is appropriate or not and whether the flop bet amount was good or not. If I tell you the cards that might influence your remarks. I can tell you that he doesn't have AA, so not one of those situations.
That bet on the flop should be enough to discourage anyone not holding at least 2-pair, but it's likely that the players don't know that it should be enough to discourage. I think you would have to try to take it down with at least a $12 bet or check and wait for better information.
That blows about the interface problem pre-flop. It actually had a big effect on the hand.
Yeah, you just have to get used to different sites, whether the amount you type in is the bet or is added to what you already have out there. I should put some sticky notes on my monitor for each site.
