I have been playing on Poker Stars and Full Tilt. I have had a horrible run in NL sit and go's. I beleive I am playing good poker just running into terrible luck. I have taken it up the bum more times then the new guy in the prison shower. I have switched to Omaha H/L 8 and am doing quite well in the SNG"s with it. Stars has a pot limit Omaha single table sng hi lo and its pretty easy to cash. I don't know if the players are better there or if I'm just having a bad run but nl play has been tough.
You really have to get a lot of hands in to make any judgments. I cleaned up once I started playing Full Tilt after the shutdown here and cashed like 8 times in a row or something. Now I haven't cashed in 5. Whatever.
when i first played at full tilt, i simply couldnt win. After a few weeks i eventually straightened things out and im on a slow road to recovery. ALthough I still have a long way to go
I finished my bonus at PS a few weeks back. I now play the majority of the time at Bodog. No Poker Tracker compatibility, which means the sharks are at the other sites. I would rate the competition at Bodog as perhaps softer than it was here, particularly limit hold'em but NL is soft as well. My other option is Ultimate Bet, which is quite the rock garden, so I've been at Bodog quite a bit. May end up being my home site.
I played a SNG at PS a couple days ago. 5 handed at 100/200 blinds with ante. Sheesh! I busted out in 5th on a coinflip.
Been thinking about putting my $200 from here onto Bodog. I heard it was soft. Poker Stars has been tough for me. i guess i was too used to the play here at Donkyland.
Star is definitely tougher than most sites I am having a hard time cashing in even the $5 SNG's. Theres always a sherriff and an aggressive person, one to call you down and the other to try and push you off a hand. Brutal, plus I have been the victum of monster suckouts and running bad there, Bodog has been more like Pokerroom.
Fulltilt has the slowest clearing bonus ever. Definately not as soft as PR. I really should get out of FT and onto bodog, i just want to clear a little more of my bonus. So i might join you guys in a couple of years
Only cleared like $30 of my tilt bonus before time ran out. I did win a nice Limit tourn there though so it didn't break my heart. With all the emphasis on NL holdem have been trying to learn Omaha H/L and work on stud to broaden my horizons. Bodog is definitely fishy and doesn't allow monitoring software that I know of.
