I say you smooth call and use your position against him. If he bets big into you on the turn then id prob let him have it. If he shows weakness on the turn then im taking the pot off him
pockett has a good answer. I think I'd normally tend to the raise. His version is probably better in a SnG. In a ring game, I'd be more likely to raise for information. But, with azzman69 playing a big stack while the rest have treaded water pretty much, it makes for a harder read. He's the one person at the table showing gamble -- based on stack guessing. A raise might be something he'd play back at -- thinking even the set with a lousy kicker might run some off. The stronger play is always the 'power call' idea. So, all pass on my alternative and go with Pockett's idea.
OK, I am going to switch back. I think he's playing the flop at you. As the blinds you never can tell. It is a hard one to go to war on; that is for sure. You are heads up and the reraise is a bit stronger move and might entice him to overbet with a 7.
Blind on blind is always a messy situation. So, I'll raise and see if I have to get out now rather than let him get sneaky on the turn. Either way could be right. Pockett's could save you some chips.
By smooth calling it can look like you are slowplaying a 7.
If he has a 7, you are only smooth calling his bet on the flop and will fold to a half decent bet on the flop.
If he has a J and you smooth call, it is going to take some guts to bet big into you on the turn. If you bet when he checks or when he makes a weak bet, you may be able to make him fold a J that is better than yours.

I think I went a little nuts on the raise, but it got the job done. I have the feeling that I won this with the second-best hand.
I like your all in raise here it may have pushed him off AJ making him think you had a 7. The advantage to betting is you have 2 ways to win, having the best hand or your opponent folding the better hand. It take s alot of guts to fire the 2nd bullet.
