Just wanted to fill everyone in. It's been a long time since I last posted, and a lot's been going on. I started my residency program in NY, which I love, and I've even had time to go up to AC to play some live games. Started with $200, played tight, caught some beautiful hands, cleared a grand. Just to share one: Pocket JJ, raise it up a bit, get one caller. Q 4 J on the flop. I check. Other guy goes all-in. I call. He shows Q4. Sweeeeet!

I don't know if I'll be going back to AC any time soon though. I recently found a 'Rounders-'like place in NYC to play,15 minutes from my new apt., loose play, huge pots, what more could I ask for? I can't share a lot about this place online, but if anyone comes to NY and is looking for a good game to play, let me know.

Hey Simon! Let me know if you head to AC this summer i will be down several times to see my Dad who lives just north of AC in Brigantine. Be careful carrieing cash into those backroom clubs in NY. My e-mail is twin529@charter.net.

There was a huge robbery of a popular underground card room here last weekend. About $20K gone in all... kind of redefines 'gambling' for you.

And yes, good to see Simon checking in again. I go to Baruch now, so I'll let you know the next time we get a game together.
