I agree kingkev but i couldnt be bothered thinking up a formula that provides negative scores for finishing outside of the money.
However i did messag gamesrep suggesting we have an ROI leaderboard as this would not allow losing players to be on there.

Hopefully they will implement this.

Hi all,

The Leaderboards are still in an experimental stage so its great to see all your feedback. An earnings leaderboard for MTTs is definitely something we are considering as it is the true winner leaderboard. However, we are also interested in having leaderboards which do allow for lower buy in players to reach the dizzy heights of leaderboard stardom as well.

As for the Team Play player leaderboards, personally I think these are some of the most helpful LBs you could have, especially for recruiting purposes and headhunting. Do note though that they do not take into account some of the earlier Team Play games.

When we have come up with some better formulas and have decided on which LBs will be a permanent fixture, then we may possibly reset all the LBs to zero to give everyone the same advantage. Until then, please keep up with the good feedback and any ideas you may have on particular LBs that we may be missing.

Regards
GamesRep

An ROI leaderboard does not discriminate against smaller buy in players games rep. It works for every level of buy in and is as close a leveller as i think you will find.

Games Rep.. ok, u got a point there, team leaderboard could be good for recruiting.
Although, if u are at the leaderboard i guess u allready got a team.?.

If u saw my post previous page, beeing ranked 69th place i gotta suc k eh? Dont think many teams will recruit me looking at the board.

Leader board for teams would be good.

Right now we have the players but not the teams. Also.. for the players .. can they have something to indicate what team they play for?

Software writers don't charge much do they? wink

I would echo what micky said - ROI would be the best statistic to monitor, with perhaps a qualifier that you would have to have played X amount of tourneys over the week/month/year (to stop someone who won the Lucky Dollar on January 1st and spent the other 364 at the freeplay tables skewing the results.)

With that minimum in place, said leaderboard could be completely agnostic towards buyins, frequency of play, amount of runners in tourney etc. Though perhaps we could have a "money table" as well, for those that care about such things.

yeah graylien. I messaged gamesrep last week suggesting the roi leaderboard with the following requirements.
Daily leaderboard - 3 tournaments.

Monthly leaderboard - 20 tournaments.

Yearly leaderboard - 200 tournaments.

There can obviously be separate leaderboards for STT's and MTT's.
