I wonder who said:

They are stuffing cash into suitcases,
and booking flights to Costa Rica.

(Oh yeah, it was me.
Time to adjust my tin foil hat.)

When PR gave the U.S players the boot AP was usually my site of choice.

Not anymore....funny how people called us fools for questioning the integrity of online play.

I wonder what they are saying now?

There has been rumour for over a year now that something wasn`t "quite right" at AP. Notable players have voiced concern in various forums in that time but without proof they remained as simple conjecture.
The most worrying aspect of this event is the fact that Absolutes "security department" had investigated this tournament at players request and consequenly issued a statement to say they had investigated and found nothing untoward apart from some very bad play by the culprit. Now it`s clear they were lying and covering up.
I personally have suspicions that an honest employee of the site knew this and purposely sent the runner up the entire history of the tournament knowing it would lead to exposure. This information included all entrants hole cards for every table along with IP and e-mail info of each player.
I believe all us regulars at PokerRoom.com should be ever more grateful that PR staff & djdaddio (PPFFP) helped make this the safest and most secure site on the net a year or two ago.
