i thought u were blocked for spamming? Anyway, i'll be honest with u...if u dont know about what happened at ab/ub its probably for the better lol. Just play at reputable poker sites. I wouldnt play there.

Hmmm. By way of a disclaimer to my previous post, I'm never entirely sure how seriously to take Mike Matusow. Devilfish reckons he was taken for a bundle as well, though, including all the money he was paid for endorsing UB early on. This gives some credence to what Matusow says, imo, at least to the part about his losses.

Round about 19.00 he also claims he lost heart after RH stole two million from him. A lot of the people affected by these scandals say this - the losses go well beyond the actual money stolen in the hands, because your game suffers from the crushing you have taken.

It doesn't look like the AP/UB mess is ever going to be cleaned up.

Mike is "full of it" mad. I can't see him making a move on RH. If he was going to he would have done it a long time ago.

You can but wonder why players who allegedly have been taken to the laundry by Russ for millions are reluctant to take action against the scoundrel.

Something tells me they are not willing to prosecute because he has the goods to implicate half of the poker industry.

Maybe even the likes Mike are being paid
by the industry to STFU.

It's scandalous

I agree, I can't see Mike doing much. The anger seems real, it's the bluster that doesn't. I've seen posts saying that Mike was a losing player for many years before the poker boom, and perhaps that's how the drugs conviction came about [six months in prison, supplying (or maybe just possession of) cocaine, 2004-2005.]

He has a small stake in ftp, I think I'm right in saying, and this keeps him going okay. So he's comfortable, and there may be moral debts he holds to others from when he was struggling - who knows? Both of these would argue that he will do nothing. And I just get that feeling, watching him, that a lot of what he says here is bluster. The anger looks real, though.

meh, there should be a question mark somewhere in the second sentence, but I can't be bothered to try to work out where. Also I had to put a 'perhaps' in somewhere, because it's speculation.

I think I have read everything that is available on the subject UB/AP/KGC and ev1 linked to the scandal.
I will continue to do so and I hope that some day the plugg will be pulled out.

Unfortunately too much money is involved and too many people in powerfull positions are implicated in the scam.

For the time being the cover-up seems impenetrable.

Again, sorry for the agony this must have caused.
