Thanks to Neil and Simon for organising it.The complimentary styles of both of you really worked(neil doing all the worrying and planning,simon staggering around in a drunken haze,taking care of hospitality and delegating brilliantly. ) Also thanks to Suze,great to say Hi at last and wouldve liked to have chatted longer but by the time we threw the bucket of iced water over bugger to remove him from you,my motor -neurone skills were slightly jaded. Also nice to meet Kristian and dan ,who brought a fine selection of freebies,hope you all make november. The derby casino guys pete and chris were great as usual. Many congrats to andy on his main event win,couldnt have gone to a nicer guy and well done brownie for the 2nd place.Also to mummyrose who beat me headsup at the ft in the afternoon one,much deserved. Great to see a few new faces alongside the usual bunch of miscreants.enjoyed meeting llamahead,nice guy and respect to fem and linda for making it from norway,both sweet peeps. I still have Pat von arez mod staying with me so if someone could come and forcefully remove him from my laptop,thatd be great As always,there are a few remenants left over and these i will be passing on to milt to sell in the pokermilt shop,this year they include: (due to lisa's unavailibility)32 CASES OF WHITE WINE. 18 PACKETS OF INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH EARPLUGS (mistakenly advertised as being 'goose' proof) 4 SLOGAN BEARING COMEDY T-SHIRTS(Bugger knew suze was coming so went for collared pastel instead) Really enjoyed it,seeya all in November.Im on a mission to get several peeps to come who it would be great to 'meet and beat' so watchout stevey,muss,marky amongst others  |
