The Score
Points are awarded to each player based on their finishing position in their tournament for each round:

1st 10
2nd 8
3rd 6
4th 5
5th 4
6th 3
7th 1

The total per team is then added up for the Round and the team is awarded total points based on the following table:

1st 15
2nd 10
3rd 7
4th 5
5th 3
6th 1
7th > 0

These points are then added up for the whole event to provide the final standings and award the payouts.

To differ two teams when they are on the same points:

First we look at the sum of all individual points (the points each player receives for his position) in all tournaments.
If they still have the same points, we look at the sum of tournament winnings.
If they are still equal, we randomise the winner.

The Payouts
The payout structure has two different levels:

Event Payout
Individual Tournament Payout

The event payout is the way that the whole Team will be paid out for reaching the payout structure. This is dynamic and will change depending on how many teams enter. Payouts are split between those players that have bought in from the team.

A small percentage of the buy ins will go towards the Individual Tournament Payout amount. This amount is awarded to the players that win their respective tournament in each round.

To differ two teams that finish an event on the same points we apply the following logic:

If more than one team finish in the same position, they will share the real money winnings equally. If the prize is ticket based then we will share any funds equally, but any remaining tickets will be divided applying the logic below.

First we look at the sum of all individual points (the points each player receives for his position) in all tournaments of the event, for the whole team. If a team still has the same points, we look at the sum of tournament wins. If they are still equal, we randomize the winner.

so ,say there is a 2 round teamevent, with 5 players per team in each round.

Say there are only 2 teams entered 4 ease. happy

team A (your team) and team b.

in rnd 1,yr team has individual results in rnd1 of 1st 1st 1st 2nd 2nd.

thus team b must have 1st 1st 2nd 2nd 2nd.

yr team would score 10pts+10pts+ 10pts +8pts+8pts=46pts

team b would have 10+10+8+8+8=44pts.

so yr team would get 15pts for winning rnd 1 46pts to 44.team b would get 10pts for 2nd in rnd1.

these pts are what are carried forward to rnd2. 15pts to 10pts.

if rnd 2 had the same results as rnd1 in individual finishing places.you would win the tournament 30pts to 20.

its the total round points that matter, not the individual ones.

therefore if rnd2 results were reversed,and team b got places 11122 as opposed to yr team(A)who got 11222.the total pts 4 rnd 2 would b=team A 10pts team b 15 pts,giving an overall combined 2 rnd score of:team a 25pts,team b 25pts,and the tourney pot would be a split/chop.happy
