Pokah/ Community

Mar 27, 2008 05:27 AM. Post 1
Did you know that Pokah has been pretty much the same since it's opening in 2003..

Of course there have been a few changes but not many..

My question to you is this...

If you had the ability to add one thing to Pokah and only Pokah (we are not talking about Poker clients) What would you add and why?

Would you want an achievements program?

A Poker tool to show you how well you are doing?

Facebook or myspace features?

I'm interested to know what you would do with Pokah.

Suze

a hand replayer (or at least a better way to import hands - at the very least the ability to copy and paste so that suits show properly and names are hidden and what not) so people can actually talk poker.

and maybe a bad beats section like other major forums have, so there's a place for people to vent, and the people who don't care don't get annoyed by them filling the poker lounge.

Facebook or Myspace features no thank you, I tell what I would like is a chat box similar to the lobby but accessed from Pokah and have the ability to have real time chat (Private) with any player from Pokah....then again it may just aid collusion.. not that we are capable or do collude. <------- That's a Disclaimer btw!

Oh and can we have the 10th post glitch back? very_happy

Hi Suze,

I would like a facebook application that you can track your own profit and loss results with. Something that can be updated by oneself for own records. Data sites are good but doesn't track nearly half the sites or don't track both cash and tournament. So something I can enter details and possibly upload hh to as well.

Cheers

There are already enough "tools" on this site Suze! very_happy

Oh but wait... it's not really a tool as such, but one thing I'd like to see are tourney leaderboards, with player ratings over the last 60 days or so (maybe, say, minimum 20 entries). How about leaderboards that you can customise by

a) buy-in ($5, $10, $20, $30 etc)
b) game (HE, NL HE, PL OH, PL OH8, etc)
b) tournament type (HU, 1T, 2T, 3T, Multi, All)
c) format (Full table, short-handed, both)
d) speed (normal, turbo, both)

Simple SQL, surely! wink

This could (and probably should) be done on an opt-in basis.

Obviously needs some thought, but the idea's there.
