The huge weekend of WSOP Finals action continued on Saturday night with 39 players registering for their shot at the amazing $17,500 WSOP Main Event package to Vegas Baby! VEGAS!!!

And not to spoil the story but in an amazing feat a little known poker player known as TurnDawg55 wins the fabulous LabRats season II, takes his winning ticket and uses it to…well long story short win a trip to Vegas! And all courtesy of PokerRoom.com

Here’s how it all went down:

Pokah favourite -Rex Cramer- was again signed up and hoping to better his numerous 2nd place finishes in previous WSOP finals. When the action started and the field was whittled down to 29 after 40min things were looking good for Rex; chip leader with 9762 in chips.

Just over an hour later it got down to the top 10, cartoon24 holding the lead with 19,215 in chips, and –Rex Cramer- holding steady with 13, 622 in 4th spot.

The final table started like this;

cartoon24 - 19,215 in chips
wiz345 - 16,722 in chips
harmhra20 -16,630 in chips
-Rex Cramer- - 13,622 in chips
Selachian - 13,287 in chips
MadMan1966 - 12,478 in chips
Sandm4n_ - 9,225 in chips
TurnDawg55 - 7,271 in chips
THEASH - 5,150 in chips
SweetSusi_19 - 3,400 in chips

The first 30min at the final table saw four players busted, and then when the blinds moved up to 500/1000 THEASH and Selachian also headed to the rail.

This left TurnDawg55 with a nice chip lead over the irrepressible -Rex Cramer-, harmhra20, and_Sandm4n_.

TurnDawg55 - 38,084 in chips
-Rex Cramer- 32,100 in chips
harmhra20 - 27,722 in chips
_Sandm4n_ - 19,094 in chips

It didn’t stay four handed for long though, with TurnDawg55 building his lead and pulling off a huge pot when his pockets A’s ended harmhra2’s night. Moments later it was down to two with -Rex Cramer- busting _Sandm4n_ when his pocket two’s held up and put him on 51594 in chips.

With the $17,500 up for grabs TurnDawg55 started to assert his dominance on the heads up play and established a hefty chip lead. With his stack dwindling under the 20,000 mark, -Rex Cramer- pushed all-in pre-flop and was insta-called by TurnDawg55.

-Rex Cramer- turned over 5h Ad and was in need of some serious help when TurnDawg55 showed Qs Ac.

The board ran out 4s Jc 3d 8s 8c with no help for -Rex Cramer- and TurnDawg55 won himself $17500 in cash and prizes!

–Rex Cramer- must have been cursing the poker gods when he again finished so agonizingly close to the main prize, but with the $500 + $40 ticket he earned for his 2nd place finish, (on top of $586.70 in cash!) , I’m sure we will be seeing –Rex Cramer- take another shot at the package in one of the upcoming Finals.

...And to think he was down to 50 cents! in the labrat competition.

Again, amazing job TD!happy

Remember to pack the donkhammer, and hit Farha in the place it hurts the most.wink

lol, thanks Kim, I still can hardly believe it... going to WSOP is really a dream come true, nothing left to do now but to donk all the pros out and take down some millions so I can finally start spending more time on what matters, poker! very_happy
