I like the idea. I agree with soup, tho. The 3k is team play's biggest event, all the regular teams should have a say before changeing it.

If it's decided that $250 is too much, we should have a $250 to replace the $500. Keep the $3k a gtd as opposed to added and make the $250 a $500 added(for example).

I like the 2 day, 4 round idea.

I would be happy to add a 3K guaranteed event with $150 buyin and min 14 teams every week if you guys would like it!

Yes, u made me think of something there sufur.
Teamplay isnt very popular right now (which is very strange imo)

We got 500 and 1000 guaranteeded games running all the time, but with only 4 teams signing up. -More or less the same 4 teams. This makes this great value games, yesterday the winners of the 1000K got 105 bucks each+induvidual payout.
same with the previous.

Now, i only play these games cause all the fun involved, but there IS some money involved too actually.

In theory, lets say only the same 4 teams play for 1 year.
With all the guaranteeds etc there is right now, all 4 teams could be making profit.. and thats pretty wild.

Removing the added from the 3K event, and put it into a few of the low stake games thats not gtd, or maybe into a 200 buyin game, would give more teams a chance to get some profit, and become active teams.

That would be awsome Fred. Although, i dont think as much as 14 teams will sign upmad

Which is a mystery to me when 22 signed for last 3K.
Its deffo worth a try though. It could be just what teamplay needs to get real popular again.

2 rounds saturday 2 rounds sunday wud be my prefernce. Any other day and you have trouble finding times to suit all teams.
Baring in mind theres esport champions league 8:00 CET sunday. i wud suggest 8:30/9:00/9:30 CET. for the first game and 10:30/11:00 CET 2nd game.
Even this means some of my team playing 4games as we are also in the 8:30 open league, but we can cope with that.

Fred, dont take it personally, but i hav no idea what planet youre on. Youre looking for suggestions, yet our teamplay forum has been littered with them for 2 years. Min 14 teams?! I dunno what you guys do in your department all day, seriously!

Anyway, my vote on the Monthly is obvious. I would like it if it were a 5k gt, min 5 teams, $110 buyin, 1 round event. Im also ok with 8 players, especially for a 1 rounder.

I know its not going to happen. No need to reply.

I was just about to write that this is the most constructive thread ive seen in ages.
Then u showed up BUGZ-E.

Ffs, Fred actually got some great ideas here, and so does many other team-members.

A 3K gtd 14 teams min. (did u even read that BUGZ-E?) Last time we had a 3K event, as much as 22 teams entered!

Min 14 teams?! I dunno what you guys do in your department all day, seriously!



BUG-Z ok, why cant we just flip some coins, and decide who wins it that way... I know having it a 1 round event is the best chance of The Cartel to win it tho :p

Oh yer, i forget to make a small, though significant point. To generate action during the week, we need more teams. My suggestion about the monthly will boost team numbers, especially if a free tik for it was actually given! to those first placers in gt events. (yes, scrap non gt events!)

Also, i believe us teamers deserve the same standards that the old games rep bestowed upon pokerrooms usual mtts. That was, he lowered the minimums, to create confidence, which created action, and subsequently mtt cancelations are down 90%. This sort of convenience makes for a happy, loyal customer. Only loyal pr customers can make teamplay successful.
