		Well there has been a lot of lobby support for a live aussie game, maybe under the pr banner? How many Aussies have we got out there to support such an event? and where is the majority of players willing to go? so the first vote will be city of choice, remembering it should be reasonably central/accesible for most aussies. then the next to work out would be buy-in, remembering again travel and accommo dation some are going to have to pay out. I guess is this something we would like to see come together for the pr aussies to get together and have a fun time and meet up or do we want a full blown serious 'only here for the prize' type event.. ok.. feed back guys and gals.. 		I vote for Sydney and I'm there with bells on Maybe it should be a fairly fun type of event with more emphasis on the prestige of winning the tourney ? Maybe we could get some feed back from those peeps who went to the live UK tourney ? Anyone in Sydney know a good venue ?

		I'm in wherever but obviously Sydney is more than convenient. If need be can accomodate a couple of out of towners if funds are tight.

		good onya reflex, showing the true aussie spirit, offering up accom.. and yeah cook im thinking the same, a bit of a fun time and of course the prestige of playing in such an event i guess too the idea of putting some faces to names

		Hey, got a few things to add (I've been thinking about it a bit) Firstly, Gold Coast would be better for me, but I could live with Sydney. I voted for the Gold Coast. Just vote for the easiest place that would be easiest for YOU to get to, and we'll make it a majority vote. Any way I can get this cheaper for my jobless, student self would be good (especially if it's in Sydney), so I'd happily take up any offers of a seat in a car (I'll chip in my fair share of petrol money) from the Byron Bay area, and any offers of a roof over my head. I'll do the dishes! Also, for the same reason, I think, hopefully, some people might need a few months to save up some dough and get organised A few things we should think about (some are already mentioned in the OP): Location Obviously Sydney will likely turn out to be the most convenient overall Venue Star City Casino ring games? Or should we set up tournaments and play home games? Buy-in If we set up some home games, we could just play tournaments/cash games all night. Length of Stay Just for a night? A weekend? A week? Other activities Would anybody be interested in other things, like going clubbing? Or things like playing some board games? A huge game of Monopoly? Miscellaneous Nothing else for me to add here, really. Just a prompt for somebody else to add anything else. Oh, and I'd definitely choose fun meet up time over "full blown serious 'only here for the prize' type of event. Note: That's different from "play like a donk" :P. Hopefully that'll give some people some food for thought. - EJ

		well id have to vote melbourne :P considering there was no choice to vote for good ol tas :P id be keen as mustard to meet a few of the lobby regs!! and if PR is able to sponsor the event id be there with bells on!!

		i'll be in only if it in melbourne! we can hire out a room at crown or even just all play in a tourney together as a team and split the prize? Or of coarse we can play cash games most prob be $2/$3 nl or theres the $5/$10 nl which can be pretty entertaining at times. What does PR think of sponsoring us, to spread the word of pr. Would be some good advertisment for them
