Well, without any 'proof!', i hav also come to another determination. Due to the lack of complaints on this issue, i now presume ANYBODY with a cc final tik in their account were able to access these exchange tourneys (hence, the time limit). I think croy still performed a service, by basiclly showing that yous can atleast get an exchange if you want to save on beurocracy. It really is up to the individual, and I strongly recommend against playing in an exchange tourney. I thought this was going to blow out to a huge issue, but unfortunately, pokerrooms customers are still numb from previous 'experiences' here, and they will take the simplist route out. Pokerroom wins?! I strongly doubt it. This was a bungle of huge proportions, and I doubt anyone will ever forget about it. And any type of 'apology' would add insult to injury, so forget that, pr.

If this is a 'win' pr, I would hate to know what yous consider a loss. Bill gates, the most powerful man on earth!! would never have succomb to such shotty business practices, so I have no idea where pr gets the inspiration to rip off their customers.

OK BUGZ-E. I guess I need to clear up a few things:
I tried to keep my original post somewhat on the short side and get all the important info across. Basically, about 2 months ago(cant remember the exact dates) within a short period of time i won 2 cc tickets (220 + 15) and 1 WSOP ticket (220 + 15). I won the WSOP ticket less than 24 hours before the next WSOP tourney and was unable to use it for that tournament bc I had prior commitments. Right after that PR changed the entry to the WSOP to 500, so now the only tourney I could enter with the WSOP ticket was any other 220 + 15 tourney---you guessed it a cc tourney. So now I have 3 220+15 tickets that basically need to be used by middle of July. I might add that if PR didnt change the entry to the WSOP tourney, this wouldn't even be an issue bc I would have entered a WSOP instead of a cc.

So, I entered June's cc, July's cc and was going to register for the August's cc with my last ticket. BTW, as far as I know, as long as my ticket is used to register for the tourney I'm fine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if my ticket expires on July 18th and I register for the tournament on July 17, I am still in the tourney bc my ticket was used before the expiration date.

All this adds to the frustration as they have now changed entry fees for 2 of their tournaments.

Hope that clears up where I'm coming from.

I guess I have to clear up one more thing. I have done my absolute best to try to get this resolved. So far I have:

talked to someone via live chat

phoned support directly and talked to someone at support and also the supervisor on duty
(he told me the only thing that could be done was to send all the info to Promo department)

The Promo department did get back to me fairly quickly. I exchange 3 emails with promo department (I might add every email was with a different person, which I find unusual). First one was what I described in earlier post(cant seem to locate ur ticket, if you had one we would consider extending expiry date. I then put ticket back into my account and inform them).

Second and third email basically say the same thing--nothing can be done.

At this time, I don't think that contacting support is going to do any good, as I pretty much feel I have been in contact with enough people in support and promos and no one is going to give me any answer different than what I've already heard.

BTW I dont think that this is "ranting, scamming stooge" I just think that the culmination of a lot of things have basically but me in a difficult spot. Namely, PR changing WSOP entry and now the changing of the CC tourney.

I was more than willing to have the tickets used by the time that they were suppose to, but through no fault of my own, I now feel that my options are extremely limited.

Besides, what right is right, and this whole situation is just not right.

The only way I've ever got anything done was phone support. Ask for a supervisor, say you'll call back after the meeting they're always in.

If you explain in detail from the WSOP ticket issue up to the current issue it will give you the best shot at an acceptable reimbursement.

This might prove more difficult because they'll be wanting to avoid a flood of people asking the same thing. Just don't let anyone but a phone support supervisor stop you from pursuing directly with PR. Live chat, email support, payments department and regular phone support all told me I couldn't be helped regarding the same issue. Finally got to a supervisor and it was taken care of.

anyway, hope this gets you somewhere.

oops, sorry I didn't notice you already talked to a supervisor sad

I'd still call back and let them know you followed their instruction and it is still not resolved. I've always tried to get the same supervisor. They'll tell you their working hours if you call and they're not there.

Good PR: 'We are putting the entry fee up for this tournament; naturally we will honour the tickets that have already been won, so long as they are used by their expiry date.'

Bad PR: 'We are putting the entry fee up for this tournament; use your tickets or lose them.' And then when people complain, offer them a shot in the 'Do you feel lucky, punk?' conversion tourney.

It's not even a matter of public relations, though. People who have won tickets have won them for an event, not a value. If the entry fee for the event subsequently goes up, so what? They have won their tickets already.

Tickets were won for the tournament, and they should be honoured, imo.

There was a guy in the leaderboard tourney at the table,who had a cc tkt,who had never visited pokah.how many more people dont even know about this yet?
