Hi there,

These Ideas, sound pretty interesting. If I were playing I would be interested in winning triple my money.

Both the tourney structures seem pretty cool to me. It also seems the logical progression from double or nothings.

KingKev, I definitely give the name you suggested 5 golden stars I love it! “Quintuple, Triple or Nothing LMAO” very_happy

As normal I will need to send this through to our tourney department for them to decide however I totally love it.

Regards,
Remi

I'm not sold on the DoN idea (or the ToN for that matter). The skill of a 10-player SnG is learning how to adjust to the number of players and the changing average stack sizes (as well as the usual stuff about position, table image etc.)

IMO, the DoN concept encourages negative play and misses half the fun of the SnG format as outlined above. Either you double early and then fold anything except nuts/near-nuts holdings, or you just sit tight hoping that other people bust out. It's a bit the same in super satellites, except that in those games it's generally the top 10% or so that get the tickets so there's plenty of scope for play in the early/mid stages.

I don't doubt that it's a reliable way to build a bankroll, but oh-so-dull.

As already stated, I agree that for 'poker value' they are not very good hence the need for 1st to recieve more than the rest to encourage the bigger stacks to continue to play.

They seem to fill really quick though so I guess people are playing lots at a time as there is very little thought required most the time...
