CHAT MUTE AFTER PLAYER LEAVES TABLE

I dont know if this issue has been discussed before, if so – plz tell me where happy

When I mute a player at the table I am not forced to listen to him whining and calling me names. But when he leaves the table I see him whining again. – what is the logic behind that? Why is he not muted anymore?

I know, it doesnt occur very often. But sometimes players stay for some minutes shouting, whining, using abusive language – especially after badbeats. Sometimes they type zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz for some lines, blocking the chatbox this way.
Since the player has left the table I cannot mute him again sad
Is it a bug? Can u fix it? Did I miss something?

I know, there are some more serious problems PR is facing these days... its just a try very_happy – maybe this can be solved easily.

Hi Alex 2306,

What you are saying does make sense. It would be more logical that if you mute a persons chat, that this action will remains in effect for a time period instead of table specific.

Another interesting topic you’ve raised is when a player is out of the game but still able to chat. An option to mute this player would also be use full especially if they are being abusive to throw you off your game.

I will send some information through, to see what can be done about this.

good job remi

its nice to be able to chat with some players after they have been booted in a private game day as a lot of times its also a social occasion

but for cash games, MTTs and SNGs i think it would be a good enhancement

@ JC: I agree with you concerning talkin to players after they have left the table, if I like to talk with them – not only in private games (at least there has to be a way to say gg, gl or whatever for a while in normal games).

I was just wondering why some trash-talkers suddenly continued talking when they left the table though I had muted them earlier during the game :/

wait and see what can be done wink

yeah maybe a 30 second window to get your gg in might suffice...also gives em a chance to get their rant in too

Hi Mods !

Firstly, thank you for recognising this suggestion and realizing it with the latest update happy
I have to admit i never thought you would do that...- so im very impressed very_happy

Unfortunately, you have chosen the rather extreme way – now nobody can chat at all after leaving the table sad

As Johnny and me suggested, it would be nice to have at least the opportunity to say gg, nh (or f*** u Alex very_happyvery_happy ) for a short period of time.
Can you say if the “relevant department” wink has considered this? is it not possible (technical) ? Or do they not like this option?

lol @ the 'feature'! The ability to chat at tables for longer than 1 min was never available, and only appeared as a glitch in an update, and was never rectified. THAT was a load of bs remi. Just an excuse not to fix it. It is a totally dodgy glitch. Ppl hav the right to play in peace, with ZERO hassles from pr, or anyone else. And yer, theres a few threads already about this. The ppl that like the glitch, r glitched themselves!

Originally, there was no chat with the download (knocked out), and about a 5 second window on java. I think a minute window would be ok, considering everyone seems to luv this thing so much.
