Hi all,

Here is some more information about the Grand Series of Poker or GSOP.

There will be 8 events that will count towards a leaderboard where the top 100 will compete for a ticket to our Grand Slam Final. All players in a GSOP event will be ranked towards the leaderboard. Also each GSOP event winner will win a Grand Slam ticket!

The $1,000,000 Grand Slam Final will have a $5,000 buy in that will be played out on Sunday 7th of Dec.

There will be one daily qualifier to the Grand Slam Final handing out at least 1 ticket each. Players can choose to go for the Grand Slam via winning a GSOP event, the leaderboard, the cheap qualifiers or buy in directly.

The Qualifier buyins will range between $1 and $50.

Terms and Conditions

Each GSOP related event will be handled as normal tournaments regarding possible promotional costs.

Players who win more than one $5,000 Grand Slam Final ticket will be eligible for a refund for the excessive tickets.

Any dates/structures of the 8 events yet?

Will they all be NLHE or a range of games?

Hi ratty_2004,

The eight events are already in the lobby. They are GSOP Event 1-7 and the eighth event is the GSOP Grand Tour which all lead to the Grand Slam Final.

The games will vary between Texas Hold’em and Omaha.

Thanks for all this information regarding the GSOP, and grand slam final.

The grand slam final, you mentioned has a $5000 buy in. Does this tournanment pay cash or is it a buy in to a live event?

The Grand Slam guarantees $1,000,000.00. Yes. That's 1 millions Dollars!

As far as I know the tourney pays out cash only. No live event buyins. I will confirm that with the tournaments team though.

Whats the GSOP Grand tourny?

Is that just the GT with GSOP added to it?

Whats the points of the added GSOP if it is?

Is it still short handed?

And there is no Gtee on the Grand Slam.

Current prizepool is $10k as 2 players have regd.

We all know what a Gtee by PR means:

We will cancel/postpone this and then change/feck it up in a random way of our choosing.

The GSOP Grand tourney sounds like the grand tourney with GSOP in front of it.
