Bad news here at Niagara Falls, as .hades.'s run has ended here during the second level of Day 2.
He said he lost a string of hands with mid pocket pairs that he raised with and was called but had to surrender when overcards came on the flop. Down to about 30,000, he made his stand with pocket jacks, getting all-in pre-flop versus an opponent with AKo. He ended up on the losing end of the race when an A flop and he didn't hit his two outer, bowing out in about 190th place.
No one likes to see their tournament run end but .hades. seems to be taking it well. "That's poker" he said when commenting on his bustout hand, and it's true, as you definitely have to be lucky in the right spots to make a deep run in any tournament.
In happier news, nammer4life doubled not long ago with A8 versus QJ, so hopefully we'll have some good news to report from the remaining two Team members at the next break.
