The important aspect of this, which is very clear to bare in mind, is that 'we'll get back to you'!

Yes it is ridiculous!
Compare what is on offer at stars.
I just took the main ones with guarantees at AEST

5pm $3.30 BI $3K guarantee
6pm $33 BI $20K guarantee
7pm $11 BI $5K guarantee
7.30pm $33 BI $10K guarantee
8pm $3.30 BI $2K guarantee
9pm $33 BI $20K guarantee
9.15pm $5.50 BI $5K guarantee
10pm $33 BI $8K guarantee
11pm $11 BI $8K guarantee

I know what the PR attitude will be though. They will think well stars has more members online and can offer this. Well Hello! Where do you think your members are going at these times because of the lack of offerings at PR? Then some decide to stay indefinately.

PR is slowly imploding due to lack of forward thinking since bwin took over HoldemPoker.com

Hi all,

I’ve received a bit of information about this issue. The reason for the changes in tournament times is as follows.

We’ve found that majority of the players who entered certain tournaments were based in more European countries. Now this will not come as a surprise to most of you. And I’m sure it doesn’t change the way anyone feels about it either. I just thought I should let you know.

My request for a tournament or two that is more desirable to those of you who are in Australia or New Zealand was looked at by the Tournaments team and has been passed on for a final decision.

I’ll continue to keep my fingers crossed.

Regards,
Julie wink

Do you mean like the Midnight Oil, which always filled above the guaranteed prize pool before it was moved? wink

Now, you might consider this thinking to be slightly backwards but...

If your Australasian customer base is smaller than your European customer base, then what you really need to be doing is increasing the size of your Australasian customer base, not removing tournaments which effectively drive away the existing Australasian customer base. PR should be thinking "We don't seem to have as many Australasian players as we should, how can we tap into this market more". Sadly that's far too much of a common sense approach for the Tournaments team to grasp angry

Dave, hit the nail on the head.. Kudus to him!

It's certainly about developing a customer base, build it and they will come....

Dave I hear PR have a slot open for a Marketing bloke, I also heard they will be paying salaries from earnings of the online shop....wink

Good points Dave and Mouse..
PR needs to make some fooken noise at the Ozzie Millions and get some more Australasian customers..I used to tell mates and people i'd met to try PR but thats gone out the window these days unfortunately sad ..Maybe PR is just happy enough with its European customers and don't really give a about any1else..
