So I thought I'd better go and set up an account at bwin last night.

So far, 14 hours later, I'm still waiting for the confirmation e-mail that will be sent "shortly". (and no, it ain't in the junk folder)

I'll be sorry to say byebye to PR. For all their faults, they were good to me. Should be easy enough (a few person-days' work) to move the forum software over to bwin. Hope they do...

I guess BWIN payed PR a nice sum to "talk the players into" moving over, as this site will be put totally dead.


You do realise that BWIN own PR, and all they are doing is consolidating the players onto one site?


They say we got the option to keep our nicks.. That simply cant be done. With all the members we got at PR someone is just bound to share nick with many of us, at BWIN.


No, because they are part of the Ongame network. You can't sign up to any site on the Ongame network with a nick that already exists on another site on the network.

If i opened a bwin account just now and then moved spot_th_dot over as a kept nick wouldn't they accuse me of multi accounting and maybe shut one down and keep my cash? I would have 2 accounts with one IP . No?

I had my account frozen the other day as they found I had an account registered to the old Hold-em poker as well as this one with the same name (oops that's different again). Forget I said anything as I would rather say that then delete this mundane story
