After the Huge success of GSOP Events #1 to #3, the action just kept rolling on last week with GSOP Events #4 to#7 putting close to $350,000 in cold, hard cash up for grabs.

Yet another huge field turned out for GSOP Event #4, with 1,152 players signing up for the $50 + $4 6 max NL rebuy event. When the last rebuy and add-on were tallied, the prize pool stood at more than $143,000, with the winner slated to make $22,799 in cash plus a $5,000 entry into the Grand Slam Finals.

Team PokerRoom.com veterans monze1, Bumi3, Puggy82, and NeilMc were all in action during Event #4

Once all the dealing was done, it was SamrCZ who came out on top and collected $22,799 for his 1st place finish as well as a $5,000 entry to the Grand Slam Final. Finishing 2nd was Kahvilla, taking home $17,106 and golowaaa’s was in 3rd earning $11,399.

GSOP Event #5 provided a bit of a change of pace, as the event was a $150 + $12 Pot Limit Omaha tournament. A strong turn out of 448 total runners generated a prize pool of just over $67,000 with
$14,354 in cash and a $5,000 entry to the Grand Slam Final on the line for first pace.

When it got down to heads up play, Inhoo had jumped out to a big lead at one point having a 5-1 chip lead over his opponent Zaki81. However, Zaki81 was able work his way back into the contest and eventually prevail, earning himself almost $20,000 in cash and tickets. Inhoo had to settle for $10,207 for 2nd place and petercoyote got $6,379 for third.

Event #6 was a $150 + $12 6 Max NL event, which sported 955 runners, a pretty amazing total for a big buy-in tourney on a Wednesday, and that put more than $140,000 was in the pot. The tournament was owned by NetSlov, who got out to an early chip lead and managed to stay at the top of the pile right all night before beating J.Tukiainen in heads up play. NetSlov took down $22,706 in cash for his win and J.Tukiainen collected $17,029 for his 2nd place finish.

The first week of the daily GSOP events concluded with GSOP Event #7, a $50 + $4 Six Max Pot Limit Omaha rebuy tournament. $75,000 in prize money was up for grabs, with the winner slated to take home more than $14,000 in cash as well as the entry to the $5,000 Grand Slam Final. el jago held a big chip lead when the final table came together, and he was able see off all challengers to take home the first prize. kesomir came in 2nd for $10,059 and keekkeri took down $6,468 for 3rd.
