lol, somehow...

Something else the old client did, and this one isn't, is saving states. I don't want to shut the Lobby Chat window EVERY TIME I log on; and if I can go straight back to the table list instead of having to go through the so-called "quick seat", that would be good too.

tried to log out but couldn't. On each attempt I was getting a message telling me I still had tables open (which I didn't). In the end the only way I could close it was to "end task" it. - Anyone else?

Yes, same thing happened to me.

Another needlessly irritating thing: all-in showdowns, it pauses fully six seconds between dealing the flop and the turn, and another six between turn and river.

Quick correction: warning beep still happens when sound is turned off. Aren't I good? Taken me a couple of hours to find that out!

Stated that this is a deliberate design feature with no plan to change it 15june 09(see link in op marc)

lol at "simple issues", where's the complicated issues thread :P

i reckon things i mention will have already been said but Ill state my issues

1) cpu and memory pig.
- running 3 tables causes my system to run sluggish. (~350K memory usage and >95% cpu processing power). Oddly enough, closing tables does not seem to lower memory usage, lol.

2) console (lobby) won't close
- the darn thing thinks I still have tables open (related to #1 i imagine) when I try to leave, and doesnt shut down. I have to close it in task manager.

3) minimum table size is too large for my liking

4) this could be something stupid im missing, but I somehow closed lobby chat and couldn't get it re-opened (?) i dont actually remember closing it, it could be a window glitch or something i dunno

5) no break timer on table

6) everything else I've forgotten for the moment

2-6 are relatively minor, but #1 will very likely have me looking somewhere else to play. It's easier to go to another site than to upgrade my computer to stay on ongame...

1.More options so we can reduce cpu and memory usage.

2.Chip style, its size, its colour and the pot. Please bring back the old style chips, size and colours. As the current colours are too hard to recognise at a quick glance when multi-tablelling.

1 grey
5 Black
25 Duck poo green/brown

white red and green really stood out well. Also the pot is not in neat piles therefore it's difficult to read quickly.

4. Too much info over the Avatars, more options please to remove this.

Thank you for reading this, hopefully i will not have to buy a new laptop if this can all be sorted, + full screen mode.(Now able to Drag table to full screen mode D/L only...amh 15june)

added info re drag feature addition.D/l only

Some sites have not converted to the new software yet, so they are not on the same servers. This is a large part of why the numbers are low. I believe the plan is to have everybody on the new software by the 16th.

Edit: Strictly speaking, both the new and old software might be running off the same physical servers at the moment for all I know. There might not be any new servers. So in the above paragraph it might have been better for me to say 'the same server software', rather than 'the same server'. Saying the same servers seemed a simpler way to put it, but it might well be the wrong way to put it. mad

I thought the notes were working okay?

This from 2+2:

alchemik on 2+2

I can see old notes but only from the lobby...
when i open tables everytihng is blank

I also can make new notes when I sit on the table but only for ppl I didn,t have any notes before... when I do this I see it from lobby and table as well

But when I had some notes before and try to write new one over the same player from table menu when i save it it all disapears... so I still see old notes from lobby and nothing when I,m sitting on tables

I would like the client to remember the location of lobby and tourney windows on my screen, so I don't have to drag them to their proper place each time after I log in :P
