Getting interesting now  link to Qualifying tables again Some teams have already Qualified: S.Africa(hosts) Australia Japan South Korea N.Korea ! Holland(Netherlands). Brazil England Some teams looking very likely: England Brazil Chile Denmark Serbia(although france have 2games in hand) Spain New Zealand are grnteed a 2-legged play-off for a place against whoever finishes 5th in the asian group  Which is now between Saudi Arabia v BahrainSome teams who may suprisingly miss out/Are struggling: Portugal Czech republic Norway Mexico Sweden Turkey. Europe is very tight .Africa is v early in its final stages. Both N.ireland And rep Ireland doing well,looking good for at least a playoff chance if not automatic. Any other observations?

Very interesting amh. I didnt know that Portugal may miss out  , but I love it, then I dont have to see Ronaldo.About Norway, ive seen their matches and they are pathetic. Im happy they dont go further the way they are playing now. They would put shame on all of us Vikings. Its only a very tiny mathematical chance Norway will go, very unlikely. Gooooo Brazil! That will be my team in the future, and I will be there in 2014 when the host the World cup. |

Ah yes,Sorry J,didnt pick up on that,it could be against 1 of 5 teams really atm couldnt it. And kim  Youve won the Eurovision song contest this year,so anything else would be just greedy

i saw the Confederations Cup game yesterday between New Zealand and Spain. I can confirm, New Zealand are crap at football! Spain won 5:0, shoulda been alot more! Torres got a hat trick in first 16 minutes. |

361 days to go and counting I kind of hope that both North Korea and Iran qualify (1 auto, 1 via PO) and are grouped with the USA in South Africa. It should lead to some interesting terrace chants  The UEFA U-21 championship starts in a few hours in Sweden. England are in the toughest of the two groups (Spa, Ger, Fin) but appear to have a strong team, if not too much squad depth. |

NZ suck but I think they have a good chance vs the 5th placed Asian team. I will be cheering for them |
