Bwin beat me for $16

Nov 4, 2009 08:54 PM. Post 1
I did a cashout of $1,000 euros so there isn't suppose to be any fees asociated with the cashout.
My bank account is set up so I pay a flat fee every month for all my banking transactions.
I was charged $16 for my cashout at the bank and when I inquired as to why I was told that because it is an international bank transfer there is a $16 fee. When I was asked why I had to pay it I was told that at the time Bwin transfered the money they checked the box saying the receipient (me) would pay it instead of checking the box that they would pay the fee.
This is not what they state in their cashout rules and I for one am not happy with this. Not the $16 but the principal of it.
Being a European site and me being a Canadian probably has something to do with it as they are not used to sending money and stuff over the pond.
I'm done venting

Yeah, because those data bits from their Euro servers cost extra to send to your Canadian bank. [eye-rolling sarcasm implied]

Sad to see the BS continues as normal.

Old Mav realizes they always exactly charge for over seas transactions and so the Europeans feel it is your own money and so thus u should pay the transaction fees and so that sounds logicial to them and so rather than regarding u as a customer member and so old Mav would pay the fee butt alas old Mav is broke sorry right... sorry old Mav
