		I've read in "Poker the real deal" by Phil Gordon, that you want the bulldozer on your right(in front) and tight players on your left(behind you). Reason being is that your bulldozer(maniac) will bet and raise often in limit hold'em games. If you are first to act after the bulldozer you can reraise with your strong hands making tight players fold medium strength hands behind you because they have to call a double bet to play. If the tight player is in front of you opening the betting with his medium strength hand, you call, the maniac reraises and now the orginal tight player only has to call one more bet to see a flop with his medium strength hand. Remember before he had to call a double bet to get in, which would be harder to call than when you already have one bet in. You have more chance of winning with less players in the pot and the bulldozer probably will call you with almost anything down to the river. Best to try to knockout the tight players and go up against the maniac with your good hand. If one or more of the tight players call then you just play accordingly based on pot odds and odds of making your winning hand. Also when you hit your hand on the flop you will be able to bet or reraise the maniacs on the flop and get the tight players to fold playable hands as well when you hit your hand. Tight players will usually only bet when they think they have the best hand or a good chance of making the best hand while maniacs will play weak hands. Tight players may be passive and when faced with a bet or bet and reraise they may fold playable hands post flop. Maniacs will call you with weak holdings to the river often.

		I agree good article, good logic, the only problem is, you don't always get to pick your seat. I have't read ALL the replies, there were many..but I imagine someone has pointed this out..but you can figure out who the bulldozer is eventually, then realize your good situation/or bad...
