skorgee great article I love it when you talk about poker you bring it into a perspective that most people would miss your right the poker table is are battle field and we have all the other enemy troops there trying to figure out there battle plan to see if the enemy is a threat or if they are just hiding in there corner waiting for the right opportunity to be able to strike and make a cripple at your defenses

so basis of the story is if you see a member of THE CREW at your table it's not just a game it's a battle right at your front door

Like I said, this is great but, the one you showed me earlier, "Bless Me Father", that one is even better. You are sooo talented.

Great article! Don't know if you know it or not but there is a guy on here that goes by pokercop that really hates you. I doubt if he is a real cop. Supposedly he had a real obsessive crush on either you or your g-f and one or the other of you shot him down. Now you have an enemy. By the way he has enlisted his similar thinking simple minded cronies to bash you your group and your articles. Thought you should know.

Well, the book addresses the intangibles that you need to bring to the game - perception, intuition, preparation and disengaging when required, however a book that really helped my poker play was Phil Hellmuth's "Play Poker Like the Pros". It clearly addresses how to play certain hands and really breaks it down to a very detailed level that helped someone like me who never grew up on playing any form of poker. I use it as a reference guide all the time, in fact I re-read certain sections of it and started playing the MTTs and have close to 10 final table appearances with 4 victories on this site. I definitley recommend it to anyone who takes their NL game seriously. Good luck
