Hey everyone,

Bet i'm a sight for sore eyes, been kinda busy trying to keep the store going but i've been keeping an eye out. About halfway through the last PC tourn Goofy and I came up with an idea for a group league tourn. We will be in teams and we will play off week to week.

For me to put in the extra effort required i would like to see if there is much interest for this. Keep in mind that when answering you are saying that you would be willing to be in a team and you would support your team as much as they support you. We'll try to take into account time differences and different skill levels to make the teams fair and the organising easy. Also there is a website started but without sufficient interest i don't see why we should put in that effort. this is just a preliminary poll, more details will be disclosed if there is enough interest.

Paradise City Group League PCGL
Rules:

1) Season signup will last for 2 weeks in order to catch as many people as possible. These players will be the registered players and will be expected to play in the season.
2) New members may sign up but are classed as reserves until the new season at which time they can be registered as an active player.
3) Sign up need’s the following information:-
· Name
· Time difference from either GMT or ET
· Gender
4) Team members and Leaders will be allocated by league organisers and will be allocated so there is a mix of gender, skill, status, and time difference. (for fairness and to not play a game of favourites)
5) Team leaders will be responsible for their team both inside PC and inside the PCGL.
6) Any hassles within any team should be brought to the attention of the team leader and then the team leader will talk to PCGL organisers.
7) On the rare occasion that a problem is with a team leader the organisers will be open to discussion. (this will help the flow of problem solving eg. Team leaders maybe able to sort out a problem by themselves).
8) Once the teams have been allocated, teams may choose a name for their team.
9) Each week team leaders will be contacted by PCGL organisers about matches and will filter the information to their respective teams.
10) As a temporary rule team leaders will have up to 3 days to organise a time with opponent team and report that time to PCGL organisers.
11) If a time hasn’t been chosen organisers will listen to cases and then make a decision on if a team forfeits, or if a time can be reached.
12) A win occurs when ALL of the opposing team have been defeated
13) Each team leader will take note of finishing places in their team and will report these to PCGL organisers
14) The only way a team forfeits after a time has been established is if noone from that team shows up. If one person shows up then it’s 5 vs 1. It is up to the team to look after each other.
15) The PGCL will see two teams playing against each other 5 vs 5 for a series of weeks to be no less than the amount adequate to see each team face off at least once.
16) After the initial weeks have been played, the top positions, to be determined before the season by the organisers, will be in a series of playoffs with the winner continuing on until there is only one team.
17) A win scores 2 points as does a bye. A draw is worth 1 point but that could only occur if the game freezes and teams are tied eg. Heads up. If one team has more players than the other and the game freezes, the team with most players sitting in wins.
18) Organisers will post a time for a bonus table. This table may be attended by a max of 1 player per team and a bonus 2 points will be available for the winners team.
19) A playoff will also be held for the last two teams. This allows the last placing team fight to not be bottom of the table.
20) The tables will be a 50-50 texas hold’em NL $1000 buy-in and no re-by. The $1000 buy-in allows for refills of play money accounts.
