If you have time, you should go to this website and listen to E. L. Doctorow's piece, "unfeeling president." I am sure that our Bush friends would say that it is inaccurate and biased; it seems that any statement that offers legitimate questions and apprehensions about this administration is partisan and biased. You will find it in the upper right corner of the page. <http://www.bushw atch.com/bush.htm> ; I will be curious what you think after listening to this piece. I do think that hearing it is more effective somehow than just reading it, almost like listening to FDR's fireside chats.
I read it tybee. And what exactly should I get from this piece? He says, "But this president does not know what death is. He hasn't the mind for it." Great, another bitter lib calling Bush an idiot. We have all heard this before. Should Bush bite his lip like slick Willy? Will that make Bush more 'feeling'. I don't think this piece is biased. The author is very clear where he stands and he is simply expressing one man's opinion, as rediculous as it is.
