Sorry guys, jumped in here a little late I see. Evidence? You say you want evidence? Its been in your face the whole time. You, like MOST of your republican counterparts, refuse to see it. Lets start with the war; False information used to start the war. Weapons of mass destruction. Where are they again? Gas prices. Middle east oil lords. Iraqi people/insurgents/terrorists. You cant beat terrorists on their home court.Well not without killing a bunch of civilians. Megan, you are just as hard headed as my girlfriend. Mostly no political background or foundation. You use false walls to try and trap some of the most free-thinking minds on the net. By false-walls I mean this stuff like "show me some proof". Bill clinton didnt do anything that Monica didnt want him to do. As a matter of fact she wanted him to knock the bottom out of her and he wouldnt do it. She led him on and assisted him in his infidelity. So far as lying, yes. He lied. Because his advisors told him to. Thats what presidents do, listen to their advisors, thats what they are there for. You bunch always turn to Clinton for your "backup" pummeling. Riddle me this, how conservative is spending 10 billion a day in Iraq? But im sure you have some great comeback to that as well. No terrorist attacks in 4 years? How dare you give that honor to president ******. That honor goes to the men and women of domestic security. If you dont know who they are then I will tell you. The men and women of:Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Civil Service, Military. I know its hard for you republicans to know/recognize/understand/ sympathise/help the middle and lower classes, you know, the ones that are right here in America. Not the other countries, but the people here, around us. But you would rather keep that money to yourselves because I guess God looks at you different. I guess he is going to let you take all your earthly possessions with you when you die. My opinion of your opinion on this matter is that it smells. Bad. Really. As a matter of fact, your opinions would come across and be taken in a better light if you didnt give them with such resentment or evil. Ah, I feel better.......dont you?
Tom Delay is only reaping what he has sown....he has twisted more arms in Washington than LBJ (and he was a master at it)....but old Tommy boy does it with an extra dose of vinegar.....even his own Republican house members are tired of it and have backed off their support drastically. Tom's only defense is attacking the prosecuter, who has been re-elected and held office for 27 yrs....typical Republican....attack the messenger of any bad news.
As for proof Megan there will be plenty coming soon....Fitzgerald will come up with some indictments of his own and poor old Frist is up to his neck is some pretty ugly stuff, no doubt something will come of that.
And I hope the poor appreciate that $ 83/mo for each child.....boy that will go a long way in today's sucky economy......a pair of shoes?....pay 1/3 of the electric bill or gas bill?......GET REAL! I'm sure the extra money helps but don't expect anyone to get down on their knees and thank W for it.
