Pokah has always been characterized by something in the vein of responsible freedom, and we want this atmosphere to continue. We also believe that this is what our users want. After all, the users of this community are at least 18 years old.

In order to post in the Pokah forum you must first become a GreenRoom member. This will enable you to fully interact with the Pokah community and also to partake in freeroll tournaments, enjoy even better customer support and play poker and casino games for real money. Play money players are entitled to post in the Social Lounge only.

As a new member to Pokah the following posting limitations will apply:

• During your first week as a Pokah member you may only post 25 posts a day.
• During your first month as Pokah member you may only post 50 posts a day.
• At no time may you post more than 100 posts a day.

These limitations are incorporated to protect Pokah from spamming and increase the quality of the material posted in Pokah.

Feel free to discuss and debate subjects of your own choice – be sure to do it in the right place, though! That is, a specific Texas Hold’em issue should be discussed in the Texas Hold’em forum while a random joke should be told in the Social Lounge. The messaging service found in the My Profile section is a perfect tool for private conversations.

This means that pretty much anything goes here in the Pokah community – the Pokah ceiling is to be found pretty high up above. Please note, however, that the thread you just created in the forum or the private message you just sent might look perfectly fine to you while it is considered totally offensive or inappropriate by a random reader or the receiver of the message. It should also be understood that it is not allowed to post another persons contact details and by doing so may result in anything from a temporary block to a constant ban.

Pokah is equipped with a function for reporting posts and messages to the moderator, and when such a report is received it is reviewed and actions are taken if considered necessary. Each received report is judged individually. Do not abuse the reporting function! Abuse of the report function may result in anything from a temporary block to a constant ban.

Just as in the world outside of Pokah, there exist a couple of areas where the scope for individual judgement is kind of limited in here too. The following is never accepted:

• Unlawful behaviour. This includes personal threats as well as posting illegal material directly in Pokah or linking to such material.
• Spamming. 99 times out of a hundred, the people you talk to heard you the first time you said something.
• Trading/affiliation. Pokah is not to be used as your local newspaper’s classified ad column, nor is it an affiliate zone.

Breach of our guidelines may result in anything from a temporary block to a constant ban.

With this said, we hope that you feel that there is almost no subject of discussion that is too small or too big for Pokah. Also, there is hardly no incorrect way of discussing it.
