| Presentation | Love gambling so much I just had to work in a casino. Does that make me an addict? Just wondering. Working there does keep my addiction under control, I suppose. I'm only allowed to gamble in the casino on my days off. Guess I'll have to concentrate on my Bro-in-law's home games. Wish me luck! Will let you know how I do. 4/17/04 Did ok for my first live tournament last night. Was in the last 35 out of 110+ entries. Had more fun playing on a $3-6 Hold'Em table. Bought a rack; went up about $160 for about 2 hours; broke even for another 2 hours; then lost the rack in the last hour. Had fun though, with my initial investment lasting me for 5-6 hours. I figure the more I spend on live tables, the more I'll learn. Went to my sister's house to play tonight for a little game of $.25-.50 Hold'Em. Came away $8 up. Didn't make up for the rack I lost last night, but I had fun. 4/25/04 Hit a $3-6 Hold'em table this afternoon. Lost $60 in 90 minutes. Only won one hand, my first hand at the table. Oh, well. 6/4/04 Finally got my son this morning at 9:09AM! Matthew will probably be in my arms as I sit on the computer playing online, so be sure to say "Hi" to Matt if you see me. 7/18/04 I finally won a live tournament! Tonight I won a $1500 guaranteed limit hold'em tournament with a $18 buy-in. I took about $500 home after tipping the dealer, the tournament director, and the chip runner. My first final table, my first time in the money, and my first top finish...all in one evening. I play a Barona staff blackjack tournament tomorrow. Wish me luck! |
