| Presentation | The Tale of Gishøm Méndez Prologue Gishom was a little Peruvian boy. He was very excited because it was his 9th Birthday and Gishom loved his birthday. Lets just hope this birthday wasn’t going to end in tragedy... Chapter 1: Off to the Zoo “Gishom!” Yelled Mrs Méndez. “Gishom! We’re going to the zoo!” “Whoopee!!!” Cried Gishom as he pelted down the stairs. Gishom loved going to the zoo. “This is going to be the best birthday ever”, announced little Gishom as the Méndez family marched off joyously on their way to the zoo. Little did he know the terror the day beheld. Chapter 2: A Great Day Out They arrived at the zoo at about half past two after stopping off for a bite to eat along the way. Gishom loved the zoo, they saw monkeys, giraffes and even hippopotami! This really was proving to be a fantastic birthday for little Gishom. What could possibly go wrong? Chapter 3: Tragedy Intervenes: A great day was fast coming to an end and Gishom put in a final request to see the pelicans. So off they went to see the pelicans. Unfortunately a pelican managed to escape and it swooped down and bit off poor little Gishoms head! “Why you little...” cried Gishom whilst shaking his fist as he plummeted to the ground in agony. “Oh! That's really spoilt the day” tutted Mrs Méndez in a raised voice. “Yes, I was having a lovely day but that's really averaged it out,” added Mr Méndez who was also angered at seeing his only child's head so cruelly removed. “Right!” shouted Darren the Zookeeper after apologising to Gishoms parents. “I’m willing to turn a blind eye this time Trevor but if any of you pelicans try a stunt like that again you will be seriously reprimanded. “Yeah, I think that was a really selfish thing to do”, murmured Gordon, an on-looking Rhinosauras. Epilogue You could tell Mr and Mrs Méndez were disappointed by the loss of their son by the way they walked home, Mrs Méndez hardly said a word. However the mood brightened up a little when they realised both their share of the birthday cake had just increased by a third. The End. By Me. |
