Well here’s a news flash, it’s a lot of hard work and you really got to treat it like a business. Just like any other business, money management skills are extremely important, even more so with poker. The best poker player in the world could play in limits over his head and eventually he’ll go broke. It doesn’t matter how great you are at this game, if you’re not leaving yourself an out for the luck factor of poker than you’re basically doomed. I’ve seen too many great young players come to this town with great goals of being a millionaire but constantly playing over their heads. All it takes is one bad day, that leads to depression and it could be a tough life. So make sure you take it slow, there’s no rush, poker is not going anywhere and make sure you’re not playing in games that are over your head.
