I experienced my worst let down yet on pokerroom. I lost about $20,000 on one single hand that was destined to go my way. I had pocket 4\\\'s. Was not betting or raising pre-flop with such a low pair. Next thing I know, the flop appears and it is a 10, A, 7. Still nobody is betting big, so I stay in. Next comes another 10. At this point, I have 2 pair and still no big bets so I continue to stay in. The river turns and it is a 4. I hit a full house. One guy decides to bet about $1,000 so of course I raise....and to my dismay, he raises back. In my mind, I am thinking, what could this guy have. Maybe an A, maybe a third 10. So, I go all in, my heart is pounding and he calls. I have a huge smile on my face ready to win over $40,000 when I see my little guy get grayed out and says, you don\\\'t have enough money to sit in....it all happened so fast, I had to scroll back up and find out that he had a A, 10, which gave him a full house as well. There he sat, gleeming from ear to ear because he had suckered me in. Then, I asked myself, is this rigged or what....my answer, probably not, I am just addicted too much!....and it is only play money.... |
