Skywayman
|
| Presentation | Why Skywayman? "Skywayman" was the nickname the media gave to Frank W. Abagnale, the greatest con artist in U.S. history. Poker is part con artistry, so there you have it.
Abagnale was dubbed Skywayman because he impersonated a Pan Am airline pilot and flew all over the world -- millions of miles -- for free. He also impersonated a doctor, a lawyer and a university professor, among other things, all before the age of 21. His antics are well-documented in his autobiography "Catch Me If You Can," and in the 2002 Steven Spielberg movie of the same title, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. See you at the tables, and we'll see who's conning who. Cheers! |
