| Presentation | W'sup yall? My name is Dave. I'm from Chicago, but I live in Austin Texas which, you should know, is quite a liberal oasis in the center of George W's vast mother ship. I can't tell you how chill it is here; everyone's friendlier than hell, and my brother lives here too. Most of my friends are in food-service. I cooked for ten years, and recently made the switch to front-of-the-house at a really cool bar/restaurant/music-venue... ...spent five years in Boston ( including two years of music school) and had a 13-month stint in New Orleans back '98. I first played holdem on Thanksgiving, 2004, and poker soon became my favorite tv show...well, for a while it was second to Iron Chef. Now I play a couple cash games with my friends every week. We eat food, and drink beer, and "do other things" too. I sorta wish I could change my nickname which I chose when I had a lot less confidence in my playing, but it sort'a suits me. I'm not the least dorky person in the world, and it's not unusual for me to hear people say stuff like, "Hey, Dave, you're big blind!," or ,"Dave!, you're the dealer..." especially after they get me all hopped up on KB which I'm convinced is a strategic move on their behalf, but who's complaining? I still win their money. Well, thanks for kickin' it with me for a minute. Sign the guest book or something.
