I host a NL ring game once a month at my house, which has now grown to the point of a two table game with reservations required (shhh...don't tell the Feds). I don't really have much to say so I figured I would use this area to post my wins. It makes me feel better when I'm on a losing streak. PS: "Never raise if a reraise might make you throw up" Also, Don't berate someone for giving you a bad beat. Taking their entire stack is much better revenge. Long Live The Fish Preservation Society, -Diggintunnels MTT Wins: 1st - 500 added cash for $650 - This was the first tournament I ever entered. I was thinking "hey this poker thing is easy". Little did I know back then that the cards just ran me over. 1st - 5K guaraneed for $1000 Up to this point I was only posting tourneys that I won. I now see that wins can be few and far between, so I decided to post tourney's that I made the money tables. Also, I started taking better notes because I realized the hyperlinks expire (PR deletes tourney record) after a couple months. 23rd (490 entrants) 3/15/05 - 5k guaranteed - Big $37 - posted as a reminder not to blow a huge chip lead trying to break every damn player in the final 4 tables. 30th (1100 entrants) 3/19/05 at Partypoker "gasp" $2500 guaranteed players club tourney - won a big $25 (what a waste of time) - posted as a reminder not to play like scared little girl on the bubble lest you win a big $25 vs. $750 11th (390 entrants) 4/23/05 $10 + 1 Multi - won $32 7th (164 entrants) 4/26/05 20+2 Midnight oil - $97 + ticket to Grand prix (worth $108).... I was robbed the guy hit his full over my flush...damn you! 31st (404 entrants) 5/4/05 $5k guaranteed $5+.50 won $38 37 (411 entrants) 5/17/05 $5k Guaranteed $5+.50 won $40 41 (853 entrants) 6/14/05 $4k frenzy $2 + 0 won $18 14th (1687 entrants) 10/9/05 Lucky Dollar won $19 - ran my pocket tens into someones pocket aces, oh well i was playing for fun anyway |
