| Presentation | so, i suppose i can go ahead and write some stuff in here now...
i'm a senior philosophy major at the university of notre dame...hence goIrish. i've been playing poker sporadically for as long as i can remember, but have only really gotten into it in the last couple years, and only seriously in the last year. i've been doing some reading and lots of playing, both play and real...currently more with play money because i play most days at work and don't really feel comfortable putting money on the table when i could get called away to work on something in the middle of a hand. i haven't done a ton of tournament play, but i enjoy it and am working on my skills there, while still playing lots and lots of ring games. i play hold'em mostly but also dabble in 7-stud and omaha hi/lo8. i can almost always be convinced to get into a game...which isn't a bad thing  except if somebody tries to get me to play acey-deucy. i HATE that game.
outside of poker, i'm into music primarily. i write music and play guitar, bass and sing, and can at least attempt to play just about anything else that makes noise. i'm working on getting a good band together, so once i'm a rockstar i'll have a lot of money to play poker with. i like pretty much all music, and one of my favorite bands is called "umphrey's mcgee." if you don't know of them, go to their page or to a show near you and check it out - you will have a hard time not at least bobbing your head. the guys in umphrey's are also big gamblers, if that makes you want to check them out any more... for the record, i also like to play golf, run, and do just about anything outdoors, at least when its warm. well i guess thats all for now - thanks for stopping by, drop a note if ya please! |
