About me

Presentation Hello all. A bit about myself....

Lets see, I'm a Big Michigan State fan

Love to garden and drink kind brew. Sports gamble and play poker.

The outdoors is great! Spent a week doing backcountry in glacier last summer. Hiking, climbing and love fishing. The Steelhead are starting to run here so less time on pokerroom.

Travel is an important part of my life. Spent some time in the UK, France, India and The Netherlands (fun place!)
Next trip gonna be Thailand, Asia is calling me!

My Poker high point was winning my way into the WPT world poker finals at Foxwoods in Nov. It was a 10,000 dollar NLH tourney with a top prize of around 2 million!
Even though I only came in 101st out of 333 it was a great experience.
Just to play w/ Dan Harrington, Layne Flack, Kathy Leiber, Kenna James and others was amazing.
Johnny Chan even stood from his table to watch an all in of mine! Lost most of my 30,000 that hand to running fives.
The flop was a rainbow 2,3,4 to go with my pocket fours.
New guy at the table bets about 2k. So I all in him with my set of fours figuring he has an A and only a five would beat me.....well I was wrong he had 4,5: pair of fours with an openender. The turn comes 5 giving him two pair. (my set of fours is looking better!)
The river come another 5, he riverboats me out fives over fours.
Lost over 20 thousand that hand with about nine left.
After 8 hours of play it was sooo hard to be back where I started.
After that Layne taught me a lesson about going on tilt....
Called me down with King high and busted me.
Oh well.....Next time!

Went on the road and played in two wsop circuts......
First was ballys
Sit down at my first table Doyle, Min, Bill Gazes and Max Prescatori are at my table crushing.......
45 min in Flop a set of 4s again......here we go I think
end up loosing 3500 before folding too two all ins (over pair and prescatori had the straight)
Doyle says he woulda call getting the odds (guess thats why I outlasted him)
Second day WSOP main event champ Joe Hatchum at my left and JC Tran at right to start the day. Doug Lee and Magrill to end it......I do well and up my stack to over 50k
Third day.....Feature table with Scottie and Jen Harmon...got shit on By pokerrooms own mustang1929.....he rivered me.
Ended up 22 outta 136 not bad....but not in the money.

Then was ACs wsop circut.......Can you guess what hand took me out.......thats right folks a goddamn set of four.
I have pocket kings and pushy guy flopps a set of fours to bust me early........
GOD 444 sucks

Then it was back to vegas for the 5 diamond......for the first time i didnt get in.
But got to the final table at the bellagios 500 + 40
Played for hours with TJ Cloutie. FUN

Whats the use if its just good luck,
