I believe we will become the best team around. happy So, whats a good pokerplayer? I mostly play the 5/10 dollar tourneys, but ive met a few really good players there.. but for crying out loud, ive met some bad players too. Actaully, if u enter a table with 7 bad players 2 great players and yourself, ure most likely to be taken out by one of the bad players.. Why? i think most bad players (players that play hands like K7 A6 7J, -and bet like hell if they hit K or A)will usually not even reach payout, but one of them will always survive cause they get lucky, and cause they are really hard to read. U bet 200 preflop on BB 30 with QQ and they call with 35 and get the str8, simply cause u didnt see it coming. Thats why i like playing good players, which bring me back to the top of my profil, what is a good player? I think there are some players at these 5/10 dollar tables that could stand a reasonable good chance if they sat down with players like Farha, Negreanu, Hansen,Tony G, Greenstein, Ivey, Jennifer Harman, Helmuth and the rest of the creem so to speak. BUT, as Daniel once said to Mike Matusow, to play at this stage there is one thing u gotta have; u gotta have the dough. And even if he said that only to pick on Mike, i think he pretty much nailed it down. Cause, hasnt that always been the inner core of poker? How much money u can put on the table will always make the dicision for u, and influence how u play. Daniel is fortunate enough to have enough dough to bake a new Rome, which at a poker cash table allowes him to play with the pros, and most important, see more flops , make more bluffs, and always with normal heartrythm. The rest of us can only hope we one day get to win a big one, and maybe we once can get to meet the players that inspire us, and try to take them out. i think pokersites should try to discover more players, and make more sponsordeals, cause there is many good players out there that deserves a chance. Poker is up and comming, and i love this game. Ok, I just couldnt come up with something funny today.. If u wanna send me a message i would be happy, and i wouldnt bite u if u talked to me either in lobby or during a tournament. Oh, one more thing, CHECKDOWN.. if u dont know what that word means, than u should f. find out. I cant stand players that dunno what it is, and cant do a simple checkdown... Latest today, there was one player all in, at table, (with one to go before payout), i called him, and a third player called him. I flopped a inside str8 flush draw, but still just a draw, and the third player put me all in.. now, the player that went all in first only had 140 chips left, and i wanted to reach payout, and decided to fold. The player that put me all in had ofcourse only a pair of 5, i WOULD have hit the str8 flush on turn, and the lowstack did a nice tripple up cb with a pair of 7, and stayed alive...... So the lesson is, Its always in everyones interest (xept) the lowstack), to ALWAYS do i checkdown... Ok, hope u got it, cause its scary how many players here that dont know that consept. ^^^^ I wrote this part of my profile ages ago, and i forgot to mention im mostly a stt player. Offcourse there IS some situation a checkdown isnt really needed. Specially in a mtt. Well seeya at the tables, have fun, gl, and kill the donks!! AND ffs, shake those monkeys down from the trees! At the end i just wanna add, u might find me strange, but im actually only half a bottle of vodka away from beeing normal.. |
