| Presentation | I started playing poker for real, about 4 years ago at a scandinavian ongame-site, but have tested about all networks/sites out there, but not finding anything that suited me, beside Ongame and Stars. I was fascinated of the Pokah Community here, so decided to be a member. While I have been fairly active here, I haven`t played a lot on the site, because I found better deals on an other site, so I`m playing there now. I started winning a lot right before I joined Pokah, and had more passion for the game back then, when everything was new, and the "kids", Gus Hansen, Ivey and Negreanu were the big idols. I got a lot of new "friends" here, an we motivated each other when we ran well. I got an invite to "The Regulators", and we started playing team-games that was a lot of fun, especially when winning with the team. We played the team-games most for fun, and to have a good laugh. But that time is over now, and I suffered some tough downswings, but have always fought back, in some way. Now in December, I took down 1st in Euro Grand Prix, $17,5k, when I was ready to leave poker, because I was losing, so that gave me new boost. I took down $2,7k in a 6kg right after, so hopefully I`m back on the track. I have learned that I can`t take thing for granted, and that I always must be open-minded to learn new concepts, so I can take my game to the next level. I started watching instruction-videoes on a new pokersite, Deucescracked, a year ago, and must say that I have learned a ton from pr1nnyraid and whitelime, since then. pr1nnyraid is a total maniac, so trying to copy his style without knowing what you are doing, can be very expensive in the long run. He challenged Benyamine to headsup 28 sept. 2008, something he turned a solid profit at: http://www.pokerlist ings.com/benyamine-v s-pr1nnyraid-this-ti me-its-personal-3107 7 Hope he shows up on highstakes-poker soon, when he is rolled for that, because he is one of the best minds in the game, nowadays. I have tried his style, without much success, basically because I became afraid of losing, and was uncomfortable. I recommend playing your own game, and do what you feel is right. We have all things we can improve, but success comes with hard work, and experience. Personally, I do best when I play tight-aggressive, and relaxed. The games have become much harder after Deucescracked and Pokerxfactor started up, so not sure how much their success has helped me winning, overall, but as long I learn new concepts, and getting smarter, I shouldn`t really complain. Can`t just focus on that others getting better and better. I wish all happy christmas, and happy new year! |
