About me

Presentation Dumb Tourney Player Tale...in the 20+2 Multi on this site a few days ago, I had made it to the final table. There were 6 players left I was around 3rd or 4th in chips (around 13k in chips). I pick up big slick in middle position and I move all in preflop. The SB calls me (he has me covered barely by like 1000 chips) with a J7o. Not only does he hit the jack on the flop, when I hit the straight on the turn he gets the four card flush with his 7 of clubs. If I could, I would have shot that SOB right then and there....

A Quote to Live By: "I was on the draw"

Casino Tales: So I head off to the East Chicago Harrahs the other day where I took a wicked wicked 'bad' beat and then happened to deliever one as well. Let's start with the new definition of drawing dead at the 5-10 table:

I have a 67 suited one off the button and I limp in. The SB raises it up and one person calls and so do I. The flop comes 678 of spades, they both check to me and I bet and they both call. The turn comes a 6 of hearts. The SB bets, the other player calls, I raise. The SB calls and the middle position re-raises and I call. A blank comes on the river. The SB checks, the middle bets, I raise, SB folds, the middle reraises, I call. I had figured out that I was drawing dead on the river...but what can you say: he turns over the 10 high straight flush which shreds my boat. Ow Ow Ow.

My fun on the boat was not done yet: Later in the day I get dealt pocket aces in the SB and I raise it up. Two callers and the flop comes 678 rainbow (OH GOD NOT AGAIN). I bet it off and the second caller raises and I come right back at him and he calls. The turn is an ace and I check to the player behind me and checks. The River: It's called stop, drop, KABOOM: Ace #4 and I bet it. He calls and I show my quads. He turns over his 109 in disgust...there is some justice in the world still...just some...
