Über mich

Über mich I was asked recently to update my presentation…..here goes.

I have been playing on the Pokerroom website for about 2 years now. I came across it one boring night at work when looking for online games to play. At that time I had never heard of “Hold-em” or any other poker games come to think of it. Needless to say I became instantly hooked, playing whenever possible and reading as much as my head could handle. I played before, during and after work, sometimes up to 15 hrs a day. Looking back I realise this was a little extreme but the experience and knowledge that I have acquired from this has been invaluable.

So here I am in January 2004, and still playing. I am still trying to learn about this game that we all love so much. I read articles online, buy any poker book I can lay my hands on, and watch any televised event that happens to be on. I still play every day but have to limit my online time to about 5hrs.

I like to think that all the time I have been playing has not been wasted. I have won the daily free role(limit structure) three times, the last time being the final night they ever had it. Ive managed second and third on about 4 occasions each and made the top 10 on too many occasions to remember. I have won the Sat $1 tournament and also managed second twice and a thirteenth in the same competition. I am also the proud owner of two Pokerroom T-Shirts. When not playing in the multi tournaments I can be found playing single table ones or poker 4 ring games. Finally I would like to mention a few players I have met over the last few years who have made the pokerroom experience just that little but better.
