Githead Gets on the Team PokerRoom Bus to Las Vegas - by Seth Shafer

Jun 9, 2008 Thursday’s WSOP online finals drew 40 players, with each and every one firmly focused on one single, solitary thing: grabbing the top prize of a $17,500 prize package to the 2008 WSOP.

Former Team PokerRoom.com members moo- and Huempel were among those 40 hopefuls, as well as Pokah regular Githead. xxm0Nzxxx was the leader at the first break, with hsvhsv overtaking him when the final table was set:

Githead, though, quickly surged to the top, going on a heater at the final table that would prove too much for his opponents. Githead and hsvhsv were the last two standing, with Githead prevailing in the end to take down the top prize of the $17,500 prize package. hsvhsv collected $586 + a ticket for his second place finish, with domiN06 in 3rd ($293 + a ticket) and xxm0Nzxxx in 4th (a finals ticket).
