		LabRats II officially kicked off on February 3rd, with account access details going out to the Rats a few seconds after the stroke of midnight. And with that they were off, with our contestants scurrying around like, well, rats, to see who could hoard and stash away the most winnings into their LabRats accounts. We caught up with many of the anxious Rats just before the competition officially started, and got their thoughts on a few different questions. I either make a $1,000 or lose $1,000 there just doesn't seem to be any middle ground for me any more. My first 3 years here I couldn't miss it seems, now it's either feast or famine(more famine then anything). Therefore I'm afraid I'm going to be the first one out and disappoint the ones that are cheering for me. “ Scientist’s note: That’s a lot more than 1 word, LabRat-05. Consider adding exercise wheel to allow Rats 13-18 to work off some excess excitement. LabRat-19: “Nervous” We also poked and prodded the Rats and got them to answer which Rat they were most worried about as far as competition goes. Much like the Pokah discussion of picking your choice for King Rat, there was a pretty clear consensus of which Rat was most feared by fellow contestants: LabRat-05 (wheelerleo). While LabRat-19 (Hels Bels) and LabRat-14 (arrumador) and LabRat-12 (Bandinky) picked up some votes as Most Feared, LabRat-05 was hands down the most popular choice for Most Feared Rat among the contestants. And for good reason, as not only has LabRat-05 already proven that he can spin up $10 in free money into more than $125,000 in cashouts, but he’s also got multiple final tables on the Canadian Poker Tour under his belt, as well as surviving to Day 2 of last year’s WPT Niagara Falls event. Anything can happen in the Lab, though, especially with months of experimentation ahead of us. With all the Rats set loose and scurrying around the Lab, stay tuned as we bring you more reports from our experiments, including a recap of the kickoff freeroll tournament for the Rats, a winner take all event that made one Rat $100 richer, and giving them a big head start on the field!
